Condurre i bambini verso l'autonomia significa DARGLI TEMPO
significa AVERE TEMPO
Il nido o la scuola sono i loro spazi dove c'è il tempo per fare le cose con calma.
Non mettete fretta ad un bambino se non è necessario.

simply place the coat in front of them (on the floor) with the top
closest to them. They insert their hands in the arm holes and then flip
it over their heads

It is a great tool for independent dressing, but! if your kiddo is not interested in it, there’s no need to push for it
.
We didn’t start practicing it until the end of last season around 20 months because before that we didn’t see any interest
.
Then
at around 20 months there was some curiosity but the season was over so
modeled and practiced a bit, but didn’t keep at it. Now at 26 months we
see a lot more interest and she got it in a couple of tries
.
So!
If there’s interest then great, show your kiddo how to do it by
modeling yourself (I did it with her coat) and let them practice. If
there’s no interest, don’t feel pressured!
